World of Warcraft - Useful Items
Whenever I try to search for "Useful Items in WoW", normally I get a bunch of websites with
guides for Best in Slot gear or something similar. While that is useful, I wanted to know what
items I should gain that either cannot be equipped or are not BiS but still useful. Teleportation
items and DPS/Tank consumables were the easiest to find, but I knew from my many years of
WoW experience since Burning Cruade released that there are far more out there.
So I decided to compile a list of items myself. These are items that can currently be obtained
in retail WoW (so no Band of Icy Depths, unfortunately) and have some sort of use that extends beyond
the expansion they are released in (so no toys that work only in Draenor for example, but items that
assist in gathering expansion materials are fair game). I doubt this is an all-inclusive list despite
my best efforts, so please let me know if you see anything missing!
As a note, I will also include some class-specific items that teach abilites or are otherwise
useful but may not stay in your bag.
